03 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
04 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
05 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar

07 - 1 tablespoon milk
08 - 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
→ Dipping Chocolate
09 - 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
10 - 1 teaspoon coconut oil or vegetable shortening (optional)
# How To Make It:
01 - Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a small bowl; set aside.
03 - In a large bowl, beat softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
04 - Add egg, milk, and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until fully combined.
05 - Gradually blend dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
06 - Using a teaspoon or small cookie scoop, place small mounds of dough onto the prepared sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.
07 - Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until edges turn lightly golden. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
08 - Combine chopped chocolate and optional coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth and melted.
09 - Dip half of each cooled vanilla wafer into melted chocolate. Let excess drip off, place on parchment paper, and refrigerate for 10 minutes to harden.
